Artist Bio

I am dedicated to capturing the ocean through my art. My paintings are illusionistic, occasionally hyperrealistic.

I love the ocean, Its wild wave-swept places and shifting moods. I love the tranquility that follows the storm and a remote corner of coastline on a bright summer day. That’s where I find my inspiration! I paint mostly in oil, focusing on colour, light, and the interplay between texture and its absence.

I'm based in coastal Queensland after a recent move from the city of Melbourne.
